Suncoast Yellow Ribbon (formerly Yellow Ribbon Suicide Prevention Program of Pinellas County) teaches "gatekeeper training." Gatekeeper training is the suicide prevention name for the course were you learn the warning signs, risk factors as well as coping skills and do's and don'ts for anyone at risk for suicide. This course is a simple "mental first aid" technique for everyone. If you have family or friends who has been "Baker Acted" or who have depression this is a course you do not want to miss.
